In Side Logistics, the integrated logistics operator of the Vasco Group, has appointed Alejandro Galán as the new director of its Algeciras branch. With this appointment, the company strengthens its management structure at a strategic point and begins a new phase focused on commercial growth, service expansion, and the consolidation of its presence in Andalusia.
The appointment responds to In Side Logistics' desire to boost the development of its activity in the Algeciras area, one of Southern Europe's main logistics and port hubs, and to move towards a broader, more modern, and competitive model. The company will work on expanding its conventional transport services, with a particular focus on developing curtain-sided trailer solutions, building on its established experience in Valencia.
From his new role, Alejandro Galán will lead the growth of the branch with the aim of bringing differential value to the area's logistics offering, fostering regular projects with clients, and expanding both the facilities and the range of services linked to the port. The roadmap also includes strengthening activity beyond Algeciras, with a regional vision aimed at broadening the core business in Andalusia.
Galán has over 10 years of experience in the logistics and port sector, with a career linked to both commercial fields and the management of customs operations, transport, and goods storage. This profile combines market knowledge and operational vision, two key aspects to support the delegation's evolution in this growth phase.
