The VASCO Group's logistics company promotes Zebenzuy Taima, who until now was director of the Canary Islands and the Caribbean, to the position of general manager, expanding his responsibility to the peninsula where In SIde Logistics has had an important development.
The company's CEO, Xabier Azarloza, explains the change: "Zebenzuy has been a key manager for us from the beginning, he has made In Side the number one logistics company in the Canary Islands in terms of turnover, number of dedicated projects, warehouse metres and delivery capacity. In addition, he has successfully managed the establishment of In Side in the Caribbean, where we have now been in business for 15 years and are a consolidated company in the area. It is the most deserved promotion in history".
In Side Logistics as a group has seen exponential growth in recent years, doubling its turnover in three years, from 20 million euros in 2021 to 40 million euros in 2024. This growth has originated mainly organically, also with a purchase and subsequent addition of 50 tractors and 80 trailers to the company's own fleet.
In the words of the CEO, "the appointment of Zebenzuy Taima is part of a strategy to give the entire group homogeneity both in purely transversal services and in operational and commercial services, where we lacked a single management". Azarloza adds that "it is time to shore up the project from its base with technological renewal in the background, but without losing one iota of our ambition to grow and be a relevant logistics operator in Spain".
In this way, the company reinforces its peninsular commitment to transport and adds it to what was already its core service: dedicated warehouse projects, which has been the basis on which it has built its reputation in the logistics market.
Xabier Azarloza, for his part, will assume the role of director on the organisation's General Board of Directors.
