The Valencian logistics operator achieves a turnover of close to 40 million euros thanks to expansion in conventional transport and consolidation in the Canary Islands.
IN SIDE LOGISTICS, a leading logistics operator in the peninsula, the Canary Islands, Algeciras, and the Caribbean, has closed the year 2024 with record growth of 39% in its turnover, approaching 40 million euros. This notable increase has been driven by its consolidation as the main conventional transport operator in the peninsula and its expansion into new contracts in the Canary Islands, where it has managed to position itself as a market leader.
Xabier Azarloza, Director General of IN SIDE LOGISTICS, highlighted: “2024 has been a very intense year. We have made significant investments in our fleet, incorporating 60 lorries and 80 trailers, as well as new teams of collaborators that have allowed us to match our historical warehouse service with that of conventional transport, in order to offer our clients a much more complete and efficient service.”.
In line with this expansion, IN SIDE LOGISTICS It has significantly expanded its fleet, which now boasts almost 100 tractor units between conventional trucks and container carriers, a considerable increase from the 30 trucks it operated previously. This investment in equipment has been key to maintaining leadership in container transport services and expanding coverage to new markets.
In Valencia, the company has doubled its storage space between 2022 and 2024, currently reaching 50,000 m². At the end of 2023, the company opened new facilities of 15,000 m² in the Valencia Logistics Park (PLV) in Ribarroja and, in 2024, added an additional 7,000 m² in Picassent. Azarloza commented: “This increase in capacity has allowed us to improve our offering and close more contracts. Furthermore, we have managed to optimise our operations, enabling us to more effectively deal with the demand peaks we were experiencing.”
In the Canary Islands, the growth has been even more significant, as IN SIDE LOGISTICS has added 120 new vehicles, including vans and rigid trucks, with which it covers the entire archipelago in last-mile delivery for key sectors such as retail, pharma and horeca. “In the Canary Islands, we are the number one local logistics operator both in warehouse square metres (with over 30,000 m²) and in delivery area coverage and business volume. Furthermore, we already have new projects underway that predict a very promising future for us in the region,” stated Azarloza.
In Algeciras, the company has also strengthened its team by hiring Daniel Segovia as director of this branch, who has extensive experience in the sector and is highly regarded in the area.
